  2. Read Me for Stuff Stuff

  5. This package has 3 applications that I use for preparing uploads and
  6. such. I keep them all on the desktop to make my life a little easier.
  7. The applications (Stuff, Hex and Both) are drag and drop applicatons
  8. that will stuff, hex and both stuff and hex anything dragged on to
  9. them.  Also included is a fourth file which is a empty folder.  You
  10. should take the custom icon off of it and put it on an alias to the
  11. Stuffit Engine which can then replace the folder.  Then you will have
  12. 4 icons that only take up the place of one, yet will perform all the
  13. functions you need to upload and download files.

  15. Stuff and Both each require that you have the Stuffit Engine.  See
  16. the enclosed file 'Stuff and Hex Readme' for details.

  18. There are a few things custom things that I have done with these that
  19. may not be obvious at first.
  20.  
  21. 1) When stuffing folders that end in the character 'ƒ' Stuff and Both
  22. will remove that character from the stuffed file name (ie 'My Folder
  23. ƒ' becomes 'My Folder.sit').

  25. 2) When BinHexing files Hex and Both will remove spaces from the
  26. stuffed file name (ie 'My Folder.sit' becomes 'MyFolder.sit')
  27.  
  28. 3) Holding down the option key with Both will cause the stuffed file
  29. to be deleted after it has been BinHexed.
